ToggleReiki is a gentle, non-invasive energy healing practice that promotes relaxation, reduces stress, and supports the body’s natural ability to heal. At R&R Health, we incorporate Reiki as part of our holistic treatment approach because it helps clients release tension, restore emotional balance, and connect more deeply with themselves.
The name Reiki comes from the Japanese words “rei,” meaning universal, and “ki,” meaning life energy. Practitioners believe that when this life energy is balanced and flowing freely, the body and mind are better able to function optimally. When it is blocked or depleted, physical, emotional, and mental challenges can arise.
Recovery from addiction or mental health challenges can be physically and emotionally demanding. Stress, anxiety, and unresolved trauma can leave the nervous system in a constant state of tension. Reiki helps shift the body into a state of deep relaxation, allowing for emotional release and improved well-being.
Key benefits include:

Reiki sessions are typically conducted with the client lying comfortably, fully clothed, in a quiet setting. The practitioner uses gentle hand placements either directly above or lightly on the body to channel energy where it is most needed.
Clients often report sensations such as warmth, tingling, or deep relaxation during a session. Many find that Reiki helps them feel lighter, more centered, and better able to handle the emotional work of recovery.
You do not have to face this alone. Whether you are seeking help for yourself or a loved one, our admissions team will guide you every step of the way.
